The Vines

Wine can be enjoyed in so many different ways... even in cocktails!

Muddle & Stir  |  Double Old Fashioned Glass  |  King Cube  |  Sage Leaf

Step 1:
In a microwavable cup combine 1oz Water (or Lillet Blanc if you want sweet) and 1 Tablespoon of Seedless Strawberry Jam into it. Put it in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds so that the jam will breakdown and integrate. Stir it around to make sure you have a smooth liquid. Add 3 Sage leaves. Muddle all of this for 8 to 10 good presses to extract the sage essence into the mix. Strain 1oz of this into a jigger for your cocktail.

Pour into your mixing glass:

  • 2oz Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio
  • 1oz St. George Botanivore Gin
  • 1oz Strawberry- Sage Mix
  • 2 Dash Black Cloud Bitters Prairie Rose Bitters

Step 2:
Add ice and stir for 30 seconds

Step 3:
Strain into an Old Fashioned glass over a King Cube rock

Step 4:
Garnish with a Sage leaf or some edible flowers

Step 6:
A nice glass of wine has its place at the table but using wine in cocktails takes mixing to a new level. Cheers!
