Whiskey Sour

The classic whiskey sour is refreshing and rich and has nothing to do with the overly sweet pre-mixed version that passed as a whiskey sour for so many years. Try this one, trust us.

Stirred  |  Choice of Glassware |  Ice  |  Orange, Lime or Cherry

Step 1:

Jigger into your shaking tin

  • 2oz Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
  • .75oz Lemon Juice
  • .75oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 egg white (you can find pasteurized egg white in cartons at the grocery store if you’re squeamish about raw eggs)

Step 2:

Dry shake (shake without ice) the cocktail to aerate the egg white and combine all the ingredients first. Add ice and shake again.

Step 3:

Strain your cocktail with a hawthorne strainer through a fine mesh strainer into a chilled cocktail glass or a double old fashioned glass with a big cube.

Step 4:

Garnish with a wedge of orange, a wedge of lime or a cherry… or all of the above.

Step 5:

Sit back, relax and drink your fresh and delicious classic cocktail.
