TERMS OF SALE

Orders are processed Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm Pacific Standard time; weekends and holidays excluded. Orders placed after 12p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) will be processed the following business day. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.

Please email info@muddle-stir.com if you wish to cancel your order. Orders that are submitted before 12pm PST may already be in route to you and can no longer be cancelled.

For questions between the time your order is placed and receipt of your tracking number please email info@muddle-stir.com or complete the online contact form on the website in the Contact section.

Muddle & Stir reserves the right to cancel any order due to issues involving merchandise availability. Also, shipping time may vary due to availability of merchandise, in which case you will be notified of any delay as soon as possible.

Shopify
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data.

It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Low Stock & Backorders

Occasionally, low-inventory items will be out of stock before an online order can be processed. We do our best to make sure this is not the case but in the event that we cannot fulfill your order right away we will contact you as soon as possible to determine the desired course of action. Should a customer request for in-stock items and back-ordered items to be shipped separately, then they will be responsible for any additional shipping costs as a result of the divided order.

If you are interested in a product on our site that is currently “Out of Stock,” please contact Muddle & Stir at info@muddle-stir.com or complete our online contact form to inquire about placing an order and reserving the item when we next receive it in stock.

SHIPPING

Shipping Rates:

Standard shipping is free for orders that are over $40 otherwise a flat rate of $10 for shipping will be applied to the order.  Express shipping is available, when selected by the customer using the USPS shipping calculator upon checkout. Express shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Domestic Shipping:

Muddle & Stir currently offers domestic shipping through USPS. It is the responsibility of the customer to choose the shipping method appropriate for their needs. Standard delivery times are 3 to 5 business days. Express delivery times are 1 to 2 business days. Changing an order after it has been submitted may result in surcharges. If you need your order delivered faster, please email us at info@muddle-stir.com and we will see what we can do to expedite your order, typically that would mean choosing an overnight method and charging you a higher amount for shipping and handling. International Shipping:

Muddle & Stir currently offers international shipping to Canada only. International packages are shipped through USPS. Shipping rates are calculated through the USPS live shipping calculator. It is the responsibility of the customer to choose the shipping method appropriate for their needs. Standard delivery times are 6 to 10 business days. Tracking information will be provided. Changing an order after it has been submitted may result in surcharges. If you need your order delivered faster, please email us at info@muddle-stir.com and we will see what we can do to expedite your order, typically that would mean choosing an overnight method and charging you a higher amount for shipping and handling. If you have any concerns, please contact us at info@muddle-stir.com.

Due to the complex customs regulations and duty rules we’re not taking International Customers in Europe, Asia, and South America at this time. We apologize for this inconvenience and will update our procedures if anything changes.

RETURN POLICY

If for some reason you receive a Muddle & Stir item that is damaged at no fault of your own, please contact Muddle & Stir at info@muddle-stir.com within 48 hours (2 days) of the receiving date. Please provide a photo and explanation of the damage. Muddle & Stir will either refund or replace your item at no charge.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return any unopened and unused item to Muddle & Stir within 10 days of the Invoice date. Please return each unused item in its original packaging with a note specifying whether you wish to return or exchange. Customer agrees to pay for shipping of the replacement item. No return authorization is needed. Please include the original packing slip with your return. It is recommended that you insure your package, as we are not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in the mail.

If you prefer to return your item, Muddle & Stir will issue a refund minus shipping charges within 5 business days of receipt. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the credit to post to your account.

If you prefer to exchange your item, Muddle & Stir will process the replacement item within 2 business days. Customer agrees to pay for shipping of the replacement item. If the requested item is unavailable for any reason, Muddle & Stir will contact you to discuss additional wait times or available substitutes.
